Bitter Sweet
Honor Among Thieves

The novel and film, The Outsiders is the source of inspiration for Honor Among Thieves’ SS13/14 collection. In Robert Frost’s poem Nothing Gold Can Stay, read aloud by the character Ponyboy to his friend Johnnym, Ponyboy, conveys that growing up can be a bittersweet but necessary part of life.

This installation is made with oranges and lemons – a tongue-in-cheek reference to the bittersweet theme.
